The Integrated Waste Services Association is proud to join the Columbia University Earth Engineering Center in support of the Waste-to-Energy Research and Technology Council (WTERT).  WTERT brings together engineers and scientists from industry, federal, state and local governments, and universities from around the world. These dedicated individuals believe in integrated waste management and strive to increase the global recovery of materials and energy from used solids. In particular, the mission of the WTERT Council is to advance both the economic and environmental performance of waste-to-energy technologies.
